1. Information We Collect

VIP Pass collects merchant and order metadata necessary to facilitate customer referrals and attribute discount pass usage. When an order is placed, we process:

• Order ID and basic referral identifiers (referrer first name, order amount)
• Generated single-use discount pass codes
• Store domain and campaign configuration settings

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data solely to:

• Generate unique, single-use VIP discount passes via Shopify Checkout Extensibility
• Calculate viral referral performance (K-Factor, incremental GMV) in the Merchant Dashboard
• Fulfill mandatory GDPR compliance requests (data requests and redactions)

3. Data Retention & GDPR Compliance

We fully comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (Customer Data Request, Customer Redact, and Shop Redact). When a store uninstalls VIP Pass, all merchant records and associated pass logs are permanently erased within 48 hours.
